FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
An Escape room is a real-life adventure game where your team uses problem solving skills to complete a mission. The mission is commonly “escaping” from a locked room within a 60-minute time frame. Your team must work together in order to find clues and solve puzzles that will lead to your escape or to complete your mission.
WHAT IF I AM LATE?
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your adventure time. This allows time for everyone to check in. If you arrive after the adventure begins, you are welcome to join the adventure that has already begun. If your entire group arrives late, we will attempt to provide you with the entire 60 minutes, but cannot guarantee your full 60 minute experience .
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE REQUIRED TO BOOK?
There is a minimum of 4 required participants to book a room. However, we are willing to make exceptions to this rule Monday through Friday on all rooms, except for the Basement. If you would like to book a room for less than 4 people, please give us a call to complete the reservation.
WILL I BE ALLOWED TO EXIT AND RE-ENTER THE ROOM ONCE THE GAME HAS BEGUN?
In case of emergency or urgency, you may exit and return to the room. We will not stop the clock. Once the clock starts it will not be restarted for any reason. We urge you to use the restroom prior to entering the room to avoid interrupting your session.
IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
There is no age restriction. We do not recommend the adventure for children under 10. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian sign the liability waiver during the online booking process. Please note, participants under the age of 18 must have at least one adult present to play.
WILL MY GROUP BE THE ONLY GROUP IN THE ROOM?
Since we are providing private bookings due to COVID-19, it will only be your group in the room. However, if your group wants to add more people, please call in advance to find out if the chosen room will accommodate a larger group.
ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
Tickets are nonrefundable, however with 24 hours’ notice, we will be happy to reschedule the adventure. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows will not be able to receive a refund or reschedule their adventure.
CAN I RESCHEDULE MY RESERVATION?

WILL WE ACTUALLY BE LOCKED IN?
Don’t let your claustrophobia keep you from experiencing the fun! For the safety and enjoyment of all players, a participant may exit a live room escape game at any time if things get too real.
ARE THE LIGHTS TURNED OFF? It depends on your adventure. Dark or dim lighting will be present in some games.
DO I NEED TO WEAR ANYTHING SPECIFIC? Comfortable clothes are suggested. Activity might require stooping, kneeling, or crouching down to get a closer look at something. If you need reading glasses, please come prepared.
